About a Band...

Leadbetter Band Bio

Leadbetter Band was born in 2017, featuring Eric’s original songs. Their music style is vast and diverse. With inspiration from vintage rock sounds sprinkled with tasteful jam sections, to a unique contemporary eclectic melting pot of songwriting styles. The rhythm section is pro and groovy, featuring Aaron Moore on bass and vocals, and Kaleb Kelleher on the drums and back up vocals. They focus performances mainly on original music, but the occasional cover song choices are tasteful and all over the sacred map of rock history. The first self-titled album was released in 2019. Off the album are hard rock favorites like “Grand Misconception” and bluesy “Challenge Me”. The second full length album, “Howl” was released in 2021. Both of those albums had Patrick Pearsall on bass and Dylan Bernal on drums. “Cake” was released in March of 2023 and is the bands 3rd studio album. The Band is currently in recording the much anticipated 4th studio album! The band is based out of Bend, OR and plays shows around the great Pacific Northwest and beyond. Leadbetter Band delivers a high energy and engaging live performance that will captivate you and make it impossible not to dance! Leadbetter Duo Leadbetter and Moore are 2/3 of the members of Leadbetter Band. They put on a gripping acoustic performance. Both of these gents sing lead vocals with harmonies that will move your soul and your body. We dare you to stay still & definitely not sing along!

Get To Know Eric

Eric Leadbetter was born in Bozeman, MT, where he draws a lot of inspiration from the tall mountains to the cold smoke.

His musical career started in 2003 when he recorded his first solo album, Eric’s cosmic kitchen.  He then moved to Boulder, CO in 2003 and started playing out in local coffee shops and small bars. In 2006 he established the rock n roll band, Jive Coulis, with some good friends from high school. They traveled to over 20 states performing in the veggie oil powered school bus, Sharleena.  Jive Coulis recorded 4 all-original albums of Eric’s music, which included 2 songs written by bass player Jordan Mack. Jive Coulis dis-banded in 2017 and Leadbetter Band was born. The first album was released in 2019, and the second album, “Howl” was released in September 2021.  Eric also released an acoustic solo album “Middle ground” in 2020.

Currently, he lives in Central Oregon and plays gigs constantly in the Pacific Northwest. Whether solo, duo, or full band he is always gigging, as well as teaching guitar and songwriting. Eric has continued to evolve and find creative ways to bring music into the Pacific Northwest communities, and the online community. In 2021 Leadbetter Band opened for the legendary ZZ Top at the Britt amphitheater - an experience for the books!

His original music is very unique, with echoes of the golden ages of rock. He draws his musical inspiration from these eras by listening to a vast collection of classic vinyl.

“I want my music to not only reach people’s ears in a sweet and engaging way, but also to challenge the mind and inspire the heart and soul. I have creatively explored music very deeply in my life, and I see no end to the amount of musical wisdom to be gained.  It is an honor for me to be able to share my musical expression with people that are open and willing.” - Eric Leadbetter

Meet Arron!

Aaron Moore was born in the heart of Central Oregon where he cultivated his love and passion for music, playing in bands all over town and beyond with the likes of Skillethead, Jenner Fox Band, Megan Alder and The Woods, Summit Express Jazz Band and more. His love for music began at a young age listening to his father, Paul Moore of Three-Quarter Short, play night after night in local venues before joining the group on bass. You can catch Aaron (when he's not galavanting with the local fence lizards) singing leads and harmonies whilst coaxing the mighty bass vibration in Leadbetter Band! The rhythm will leave you wanting 'Moore!'

Hello Kaleb!

A band is only as good as its drummer, am I right?! Good thing Kaleb brings the heat and holds down the beat with the tenacity of a twenty year old. Kaleb has played with many bands here in Central Oregon over the years, from Jive Coulis (the first Leadbetter Band iteration), to Hobbs the Band, and many more in between. When he's not on the kit, Kaleb is enjoying fatherhood with his two young sons.
